About the Forza Coffee Company

We are a specialty coffee company serving espresso drinks, specialty coffee beverages, teas, soft drinks, smoothies, fresh pastries, sandwiches, salads and whole bean coffee.

You can use our convenient drive thru windows or come in and enjoy a relaxed atmosphere of dark African mahogany wood, Italian porcelain tiled floors and comfortable chairs near a warm fireplace to meet with your friends, family and co-workers.

Chief Executive Officer: Brad Carpenter
Brad is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Forza Coffee Company. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education in 1980 from San Francisco State University. He was employed in Law Enforcement as a Patrol Officer and Investigator with the Oakland, California Police Department, then a Patrol Officer and Detective with the Gig Harbor Washington Police Department. He received 24 commendations in his 18 year career. He is a recipient of the Gig Harbor Chamber of Commerce “Citizen of the Year” award, the medium sized business award by the Tacoma Pierce County Chamber of Commerce and, runner up for the University of Washington School of Business Milgard “Leadership Award”. Mr. Carpenter has contributed articles for the trade magazines “Tea & Coffee” and “Fresh Cup” and is a regular featured speaker at the “Coffee Fest” National Convention.

Managing Partner: Richard Jennings
Rich is the managing partner of Forza,. Prior to his current position, he served as President of Thompson Family Jiffy Lubes, having joined that company as its Vice President in 2000. From 1990 to 2000, Mr. Jennings held various executive positions, including six years as General Manager of Associated Petroleum Products, one year as West Coast Zone Manager for Quaker State Corporation, and three years as Vice President of Southern Counties Oil (Pacific Northwest Energy). From 1978 to 1990, Mr. Jennings served as an officer in the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. He holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Norwich University and an M.S. degree in Construction Management from the University of Washington.

Shiloh NelsonShiloh Nelson
Shiloh Nelson is a lead instructor for the national professional barista certification and training program taught at coffee fest in Seattle, Chicago, Las Vegas and Washington D.C.

Shiloh competes in barista championships around the country with top 5 finishes in Las Vegas & Seattle.

To ensure Forza Coffee will remain at the front of our industry, we have asked highly respected experts in the specialty coffee field, Lon Laflamme, David Morris and Keith Hayward to serve as advisors to the Forza team.

Our Coffee

Sample our passion of sourcing the finest green coffees from around the world, then roasting in small batches inside our drum roasters with the same old world time tested methods of roasters that were developed in Italy many years ago.

Forza serves "One Harvest" Coffee's, a sustainable relationship built in partnership with farmers throughout the world.

Our Roaster - Phil Beattie

Raised in Sumner, Washington, Phil started his career in the production side of the specialty coffee industry, but soon developed an interest in roasting. He trained with leaders, in all elements of the coffee industry. Now, as Dillanos Coffee Roasters' Roast Master, Phil oversees all aspects of roasting. Attending trade events and involvement with the Specialty Coffee Association of America's Roasters Guild are just some of the ways that Phil helps to further develop his passion for both the art and science of coffee roasting.
